There are so many ways to cut back just a little in some many areas of your life.  If you are in need of some ideas to get your going, read these and see if there are any you can use.  When was the last time you went to the library instead of buying a new book. Borrowing saves you about $13 per book, many time more than that, so borrow next time you are wanting something to read. The guy memberships today have exorbitant fees and contracts that offer little flexibility. Don’t renew when the time comes, instead create your own gym at home with used equipment from craigslist.

Give your creditors a call as ask about lowering your interest rate. What have you got to loose?  They know it will cost them more to find a new customer than to keep you.  If you get a large tax refun each year, that only means you are paying too much. Adjust your W-4 at work and give yourself a raise.  Next time your printer needs new ink, buy the generic one.

The quality is comparable to the manufacturer’s ink.  If you can find a way at work to add a new skill or possible take on a new challenge, you will make yourself layoff-proof because you will be more valuable. All these little things will add up over time and save you money you didn’t know could be saved.
